Her mother, friends and even her husband didn't understand what was going on with Jennifer Oyeyemi after she lost her only son.
"At that time, I didn't want to talk to anyone, i wanted to be alone. My husband didn't
even notice, at some point i started to think my problem was spiritual".

Jennifer said while sharing her experience with BBC news pidgin Daniel Semeniworima on how she lost her son in 2016 Lagos,Nigeria.
Her case became worse that she started fighting for her life after she gave birth to another child the following year.
Now she is in recovery with the help
of a NGO -Mental Health in primary care (meHPhric).

Professor Adewuya Abiodun said
"In lagos alone there are about 2 million at risk of mental illnesses, and doctors who can treat these illnesses are not more than 50".

Jennifer Oyeyemi is among at least 1000 people that has received treatment among the 23,000 cases discovered by MeHPhric.
